Video Graphics Emergency and Security Alert System
for MATV Systems in Public Facilities The ChyAlert-2CH is a two Channel Video Emergency and Security Alert System. This industrialized version of the ChyAlert single channel system and a member of the ChyTV Video Graphics Information Display product line, is optimized for use with MATV systems in government buildings, hotels, hospitals, transportation centers, universities and any public facility where television signals are widely distributed to all TVs and video displays. Emergency and Security Video Messages An emergency message that includes graphic, text and audio information and instructions may be added to the television programming being viewed or override the program with full screen alert messages. Based on the popular ChyTV Video Information Display system, ChyAlert-2CH is ideal for providing timely and effective Emergency Instructions, Weather Advisories, Security Alerts, Video Paging and Information. Secure and Rugged Industrial Design ChyAlert-2CH is a solid-state appliance that can be stand-alone or networked. It features a rugged one-rack unit chassis with built-in power supply and automated video and audio bypass mode. The Ethernet ports allow control of individual units or groups of units via a local network, the Internet or secured private interface. ChyTV Image Engine As with the all versions of ChyTV, ChyAlert-2CH has the ability to squeeze back the external video source and position the information around a video window, superimpose the graphics over full screen video or provide full screen video messages. In addition, ChyAlert-2CH can also provide non-alert messages such as schedules, general information, promotional items and entertainment. Alert messages can automatically be accessed via alarm systems or can be updated in real-time. Secure software applications allow preset messages to be displayed or controlled by authorities. Audio WAV files may be integrated seamlessly for sound clips and audio alerts. Easy Integration The ChyTV system is easy to configure in a display system or integrated into an existing video infrastructure. The graphic and text information coupled with programmable audio clips may be displayed on a single TV screen or broadcast throughout the facility. Easy and intuitive content creation, scheduling, distribution and display of graphic content to flat panel and television monitors is possible with ChyTVês dynamic display controller.
