This is the last ChyTV Tools Beta executable update that uses Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1. All installations of ChyTV Tools versions 3.3.0 Rev O and higher require installation of Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0. |
The sample projects show a variety of examples and techniques useful
for ChyTV content development. Each download includes a Zip file of
an entire project. The project can be unzipped into your main Projects
folder, and accessed via ChyTV Tools and/or copied to a compact flash
disk for review. For example, to view the Gallery demo:
1. Dowload Gallery.zip
2. Unzip and Extract to C:\Program Files\ChyTV\ChyTV Tools\Projects
3. Run ChyTV Tools, and navigate to the extraction path (i.e.
C:\Program Files\ChyTV\ChyTV Tools\Projects\Gallery). This
will display the contents of the Gallery project, including page thumbnails,
the schedule, active data, etc.
4. Copy contents of Gallery/CF folder to view the
project on a ChyTV unit. For more on this process, click
here.

Note: Some of these projects display Logo and Flipbook animations.
Logo and Flipbook animations are special-format animations that require
a soon-to-be-available, optional conversion utility. All ChyTV units
and ChyTV Tools will be able to use any Logos and Flipbooks, however
the ChyTV Dynamo utility is required for initial creation.
Note: It is possible that, after installing a project and
re-converting a ChyTV page, the ChyTV unit may not display the page
using the original font. This can occur when the original TrueType
font used to create the page is not installed on your system. However,
the original font will still be referenced correctly in the PowerPoint
page, and if the correct font is aquired and installed, the ChyTV
page will render using the correct font.
